These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website getfivestarlocal.com and the services provided by Five Star Local, a service of Christiansen Collective LLC ("Five Star Local," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Five Star Local provides a done-for-you Google review automation service for local businesses. The service can include automated review requests to your customers by text and email, timely responses to new reviews, reposting of selected reviews, a one-time past-customer reactivation campaign, and a reputation dashboard. Specific features may vary and may be updated over time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent to use our services.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to have the necessary permission to contact the customers whose information you provide to us, and to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and the terms of any platform involved (including Google). You are responsible for the accuracy of the customer contact information you supply.

Review Practices

Every customer is sent the same review request with a direct link to leave a review. We do not filter customers by anticipated rating, gate negative feedback, or route unhappy customers to a private form. This keeps the service compliant with Google's policies, and you agree not to ask us to do otherwise.

Payment and Billing

The service is billed at $297 per month unless otherwise agreed in writing. Billing begins when you sign up, recurs monthly on the same date, and is charged to the payment method on file. There is no long-term contract — you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. Fees already charged for the current period are non-refundable.

Text Messaging

Messages sent through the service require proper consent from the recipients. By using the service, you represent that you have obtained the necessary consent to contact your customers by text where required. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP and can reply HELP for assistance. Our own text messages to you are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and materials we create for the service remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain ownership of your business's own content and customer data. You grant us a limited license to use that information solely to provide the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." While we work hard to grow your reviews and reputation, results depend on factors outside our control, including your customer volume, service quality, and platform behavior. We make no warranties about specific rankings, review counts, or business outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Five Star Local and Christiansen Collective LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service if these Terms are violated or if required by law. Upon termination, your access to the service ends and outstanding fees remain due.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
